Orlando Oliveira joined Santhera as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of Santhera’s Executive Management Team effective July 15, 2026. Prior to his new role at Santhera, he served as Chief Commercial Officer of Boston-based Zenas BioPharma, where he was a member of the Executive Committee and supported the company’s NASDAQ IPO, financing activities and strategic licensing transactions. Before Zenas, Orlando held senior leadership roles at Mirati Therapeutics, Agios Pharmaceuticals, TESARO, Cubist and Amgen. During his more than 25 years in the international pharmaceutical and biotech industry, he gained broad experience across specialty pharmaceuticals, oncology, rare diseases and orphan drugs, with roles spanning market access, medical affairs, marketing, business development and cross-functional leadership across the U.S., Europe, Latin America, MENA and Asia. He has a strong track record of building organizations, driving international expansion, and executing strategic transactions.

Orlando currently serves as a Board member at OncoInvent AS, a publicly listed Norwegian clinical-stage radiopharmaceutical company. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a post-graduate degree in Drug and Pharmacy Law from the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
